You might be one of the many persons in the world now concerned with his/her weight. You might not like exercise, even though it will certainly help you in your goal towards losing weight. The next best thing to do is change your diet a bit.

No, this doesn???t mean that you have to crash diet or go into one of those diet fads that you see on TV or hear about, which claim to guarantee that you will lose weight in a short amount of time.

This is not a good alternative to losing weight since it can be harmful to your health. What is a good thing is to simply try to cut down on your calorie intake. Not only will you lose some weight, you???ll be doing so in a healthy manner. Here is a low calorie food list designed to serve that purpose:

For snacks, you might want to replace those potato chips and other junk food with something like a salad. This is very easy to make, since you just mix all the ingredients together.

Not only is it healthy, it can taste good too with the addition of any tasty, low calorie salad dressing found in any regular supermarket. It???s better to choose a vinegar-based dressing more than a cream-based one since cream contains a lot of calories.

If you really can???t avoid those chips, it???s a good thing there are low calorie alternatives of your favorite chips in the market. There are some people that really need to satisfy their craving for those crunchy foods and these low calorie chips are the perfect choice.

Understandably, the more people are kept from their favorite snacks, the more they crave for it. By eating their low calorie counterparts, you can keep your craving in check.

Popcorn. This doesn???t mean the microwavable popcorn which is the popular thing nowadays, especially when watching a home movie or a Sunday night football game. Why? It???s simply because they contain a lot of unwanted calories. However, by making popcorn via the hot air popper (which is now unpopular) is the healthy way of doing it, provided that it is natural in flavor and not enhanced with butter. Butter contains those same calories that you want to cut down.

For the drinks part, luckily, there seem to be more low calorie alternatives for every kind of beverage. Instead of drinking that regular beer, light beer is available almost anywhere. This has just about the same taste as regular beer, except that the calorie content is cut significantly.

This is the same with sodas, there are ???diet??? sodas that contain less sugar and thereby, less calories. In fact, there are sodas out in the market today that claim to have no sugar and no calories. They???re worth a try as well. However, the best choice in terms of any beverage is still water, by far.

It???s natural, and the health benefits that go along with it cannot be denied. Actually, water can even help eliminate extra fat in the body, which would help you in your goal. Water can also help you feel full during a meal, which will prevent you from eating more.

These low calorie alternatives will go a long way in helping you in your quest to lose weight. Give them some serious thought and be disciplined enough to stick with it.
